Suleiman the Decapitator is a member of the Beautiful Pirates and the Straw Hat Grand Fleet's first division.[2] He is considered an 'A'-rank war criminal from the famous Naval Battle of Dias and acted as a mercenary for the Underworld. He participated as a gladiator in the Corrida Coliseum tournament to win the Mera Mera Fruit.

Suleiman is a stoic patriot who, despite being an exiled war criminal, claims to love his country. Proof of this is that he still wears his military uniform, despite his exile. He is fond of decapitations, according to his epithet "The Decapitator" and his statement

Suleiman is also a rather bloodthirsty man, a low-life hitman who murders his victims in cold blood and stealthily.

His fighting style gives him an elegance, placing his left hand behind his back, while attacking the enemy with powerful and precise thrusts.

Suleiman is a patriotic and stoic man, albeit a war criminal. Despite his exile, he continues to love and wear his naval uniform as a symbol of his loyalty to his country. Suleiman is a tall man with golden hair[6] (light blond in the anime) hidden under a large, tall black hat that covers his left eye. The hat is adorned with a golden skull and wings (the skull is white in the anime), three bird feathers on the crown, and a large plume behind it. His eyes are amber (brown in the anime) and marked by prominent dark circles. He has several wrinkles around his mouth, giving him a stoic expression, and a distinctive scar that runs horizontally across his face.

As for his attire, Suleiman wears a large black coat with a pointed collar (in the anime, the coat does not have a collar) and several gold buttons that reaches his feet; a pair of military medals, white pants, and black heeled boots
