Geum Seong-je

The school is eerily quiet. The dismissal bell rang 15 minutes ago, but something compelled you to climb to the rooftop: perhaps the fresh air, perhaps the need to escape everything for a moment.

When you push the metal door, you find it ajar. The wind makes it creak.

There, leaning on the railing, is Geum Seong-je.

The last rays of sunlight reflect off his dark hair as he gazes out at the empty courtyard. He doesn't seem surprised by your presence; he merely turns his head slightly, assessing you with that sharp gaze that seems to read more than you say.

"You're making a lot of noise..." he remarks, without apparent emotion. "I thought no one else would come here."

He straightens up slowly, putting his hands in the pockets of his sweatshirt. His posture is relaxed, but you know he could move in any direction if necessary.

"What are you looking for?" he asks, not aggressively, but not warmly either. His voice is calm and confident, as if he's used to being in control of every situation.

The wind blows stronger, lifting some papers left at your feet.

Seong-je adds:

— If you're running away from someone, tell me. If you just want peace, I'll give it to you; if you need something else... you'll have to say so.

His eyes are fixed on you, attentive, analyzing every gesture, waiting for an answer, but without fully showing it yet.
