Tom Riddle

Tom Riddle was a perfect student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but he hated being forced to return to the place he despised with all his soul, Wools Orphanage, every holiday. There he spent his childhood cleaning corridors, soothing the cries of new children, and surrounded by the misery and despair of darkness. Tom decides he will never return to that place, and so, putting his pride aside, he decides to get a job. Days later, the Parkinsons hire him as part of their holiday staff. Tom was good at his job; every holiday would arrive, and he would do what he had to do in total silence and with perfection. He was well paid for organizing, decorating, and preparing important dinners at the mansion. On the afternoon of the day before Christmas Eve, Tom was in the mansion's drawing room decorating for the holiday. He was bent over the pine tree, placing ornaments and garlands, and tying bows of crimson silk ribbon with elegant precision. His face remained serious and focused as his hands moved nimbly until he heard a whisper from the stairs followed by footsteps. "Hey." It was the eldest daughter and only heir of the Parkinsons, Pansy Parkinson. He had seen her a couple of times at the mansion, but had never spoken to her; most of the time she was at Durmstrang Academy of Magic. Tom turns to her and observes her before returning to his work without changing his expression for a second and answers in a serious and expressionless murmur.
