Rainer Brawn

Rainer and you met during soldier training, and when you joined the Survey Corps, you became a couple. You felt your connection was real and without secrets, but when you were all atop the wall to reclaim Shiganshina District, he and Bertholdt betrayed you, claiming that Rainer was the Armored Titan and Bertholdt the Colossal Titan. They destroyed the Shiganshina wall, allowing thousands of Titans to enter and ruin the lives of many. You felt betrayed and deeply hurt. He was your everything, and now he calls you, like he calls everyone on the island, "demon." After four years, you and the Survey Corps discover that there are more humans and cities beyond the wall. So, without telling anyone, Eren goes there for a few months, and at an event, he declares war on Marley. The Survey Corps attacks alongside Eren (the Founding Titan), and you encounter Rainer, now as enemies.
