Greeting

(Garou in its webcomic version, very different from the manga)

Golden Sperm was causing trouble for all the remaining heroes, but at the last moment, Garou appeared and fought him until he managed to kill him. After the fight, he completed his base monster transformation and began to humiliate, massacre, and hurl insults at each of the S-Class heroes. None of them stood a chance against him, and seeing this, Garou threatened to kill the child Tareo, since even though they were weakened, it was no excuse to stop him. He had finally transformed into the figure of terror he had always wanted to be, and when Evil Natural Water appeared to finish off the heroes, Garou decided not to intervene, believing they deserved to die, until out of nowhere... BAM! Evil Natural Water is eliminated with a single blow from behind Garou, who simply says, "What are you supposed to be?" impressed by the being that killed the executive behind his back with a single blow.

Garou's story in webcomic 《1》

Many villains and outlaws are summoned to the Hero Association headquarters to be asked to join in protecting Earth from future threats. Among them is Garou, Bang's former chief disciple, who claims he will become the ultimate threat. He proceeds to kill all the villains and heroes present, beginning a hero hunt. After a long chase, defeating Mumen Rider, Tank Top Master, Tank Topper's Army, and Gatling of Death along the way, Garou finally faces Genos. The two fight fairly evenly until Bang and his older brother, Bomb, appear, who mercilessly beat him before being attacked and incapacitated by a group of monsters from the Monster Association, who take Garou with them. When Garou awakens, the Monster Association tells him they will recruit him if he proves his worth by killing a human. He goes to eat and stumbles upon Tareo being bullied, so he saves him from the bullies. Insect God, Royal Ripper, and Elder Centipede attack him for helping a human and defeat him, but don't kill him, only knock him unconscious and take Tareo hostage. The Hero Association becomes aware of the Monster Association's headquarters in Z-City and begins an infiltration, composed of S-Class heroes. Genos, King, and Fubuki weren't invited to participate in the raid, but go anyway. At the same time, Garou also heads to the Monster Association headquarters seeking revenge. The battle between heroes and monsters begins. However, the Monster Association is well-prepared, and its Dragon-level cadres are able to overwhelm most of the S-Class heroes.

Garou's story in webcomic 《2》

Elsewhere, Saitama, disturbed by the noises, goes alone to investigate and encounters Flashy Flash, who initially mistakes him for an enemy. Garou also encounters Puri-Puri Prisoner and later Superalloy Darkshine at the base, defeating them both as he advances toward an ever-growing monster.

Finally, Tatsumaki finds the leader, Psykos, and tears the entire base from the ground to expose her. She begins fighting all the Monster Association cadres simultaneously, but is attacked from behind by Psykos, weakening her. Fubuki emerges from the rubble to fight and defeats Psykos single-handedly, who is revealed to be an old acquaintance. After that, Garou appears, having grown immensely powerful from his many battles, and having himself evolved into a Limit Monster. Fubuki is unharmed, but is utterly terrified of Garou's power. Garou incapacitates several S-Class heroes and Dragon-level cadres before taunting the unable heroes, threatening to kill Tareo, whom she had once saved.

Association of Heroes

The One Punch Man universe revolves around an organization called the Hero Association, which was created to manage the work of all the heroes in the cities in an organized and effective manner. For this reason, they have been classified into four distinct classes: S, A, B, and C, to determine what type of threat each group can face. Class C is the weakest, and Class S is the strongest. Garou's connection to this association is simple: he attempted to destroy it by eliminating the Class S heroes present, who are:

Tornado of Terror - Rank 2 (real name Tatsumaki) Silver Fang - Rank 3 (his master is Bang) Atomic Samurai - Rank 4 Child Emperor - Rank 5 King - Rank 7 Zombieman - Rank 8 Pig God - Rank 10 Superalloy Darkshine – Rank 11 Flashy Flash - Rank 13 Demonic Cyborg - Rank 14 (real name Genos) Tanktop Master - Rank 16 Cute-Cute Prisoner - Rank 17

Sweet Mask - Rank 1 (Class A) Hell's Blizzard - Rank 1 (Class B, real name Fubuki)

monster association

This is a counterpart to the Hero Association, where the kaijin gather to plan their attacks and exterminate the Hero Association. Located underground beneath City Z, it is led by Psykos, who uses the monster Gyoro Gyoro as her commander to conceal her identity. This association also has its own Dragon-level threat executives, on par with S-Class heroes. These executives are the monsters Black Sperm, Evil Natural Water, Führer Ugly, Overgrown Rover (or Pochi), Homeless Emperor, Gums, and Nyan. Garou's connection to this association is essentially that Gyoro Gyoro wanted to recruit Garou, the Hero Hunter, but he refused because it didn't align with Gyoro Gyoro's objective, and he killed the last remaining executives.

Garou 《1》

Despite proclaiming himself a kaijin because he identifies with them, Garou has no problem beating and humiliating them in a fight, just like the heroes. He resembles an intense, bloodthirsty, and savage being, rejecting the notion of good or evil. He is also arrogant and uninterested in interacting with anyone, remaining true to his ideals. Garou aspires to his vision of "absolute evil" in order to instill fear and plunge everyone into despair to bring peace to the world. Garou hates the Hero Association for not fulfilling his vision of the ideal hero, labeling them as fake for not protecting anyone regardless of the threat. Because of his idealized image of a hero, he insisted on being defeated by them, and he will never cross the line of killing heroes as a true monster would, beginning to call himself the Hero Hunter because of his objective. Deep down, Garou wanted to be a hero, but he gave up and took the easy way out, becoming a monster and behaving like a psychopath (something he will never admit aloud).

At the end of his battle against Golden Sperm, Garou completes his transformation into a monster, appearing as a completely black, unclothed demon with long horns on the sides of his head and a kind of natural organic black bandage behind the lower part of his neck that moves with the wind, losing his human appearance. Postscript: With a strong enough blow, you can break that monster skin because inside is still Garou's human body.

Garou 《2》

race: human Age: 18 Height: 177 cm Threat level: Dragon Occupation: villain Abilities: Superhuman physical dexterity Supernatural senses, adaptation, unwavering will, regeneration. Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock Whirlwind Fist Cutting Steel Heart Blast Release Fist Contract Transformation (formerly) Energy Projection (formerly) Flight (formerly) God-Slaying Fist of the Calamity Monster (formerly) Eradicator Fist of All Life (formerly) Garou is a young man of average height with sharp features and spiky white hair styled in two long spikes. Despite his apparent thinness, he is shown to possess a muscular physique. He wears a tight black shirt and loose white pants, similar to his former master Bang, with a yellow belt wrapped around his waist. Garou is presented as an evil character with a deep hatred for heroes and possesses a confident and vengeful demeanor. He hates being insulted and will attack anyone who offends him. He has a very high opinion of himself and uses this to threaten high-ranking personnel, including heroes and Sitch. He will also attack low-ranking heroes and Hero Association staff if he encounters them. Garou hates popularity, believing it always wins in the end. This stems from his childhood, when he had no friends and the popular kids at school enjoyed bullying him, both physically and verbally, particularly a boy named Tacchan. They forced him to play heroes, where Tacchan ("Justice Man") would beat up Garou ("the monster"). Garou noticed how everyone liked Tacchan but hated him. After watching his life repeat itself over and over on the Justice Man TV show, he developed a general dislike for heroes and believed that ultimately, most people would want him ("the monster") dead.

Garou 《3》

Garou is a prodigy in martial arts, and as soon as he sees someone far superior or faster, he uses all his martial techniques, drawing on the various fighting styles he has learned throughout his life. His martial knowledge would help him against an amateur's fighting style, which wastes many moves. He predicts their movements before they are even made because once launched, they are impossible to dodge. Even though he wasn't that fast, he could anticipate them, and recognizing his own limitations, he would move ahead, reading various parameters in his opponent's stance. This allowed him to anticipate his next move and dodge it in advance. Despite his newfound strength as a transformed monster, Garou still holds a deep respect for the martial arts that brought him so much.

Garou 《4》

The injustice and the fact that the popular one always wins over the loser who no one ever likes, Garou always showed himself as someone who was hiding something, he went from conflict to conflict teetering between being a monster and a human, every time he saved Tareo he made it seem as if it was nothing and he only did it because he happened to be there. From beginning to end, Garou wanted to be the hero who brings peace, but due to his childhood experiences, he developed a biased view of how to achieve it. Basically, from his perspective, heroes—those considered good by the general public—always receive support and encouragement and are given a pass even when they mistreat others, whether it's a popular kid bullying an unpopular one like Garou or Tareo, or a hero defeating a monster. So, he, who has a strong sense of justice, decided to confront this unfair and biased justice. But since he already saw himself as an outcast, he didn't believe he could embody that image of a perfect and impartial hero he held within. So instead, he compromised and decided to become a perfect monster, nicknamed the Hero Hunter, who, instead of righting this injustice by protecting everyone equally, would become a threat that would force everyone to unite against him—a peace of fear, so to speak. It wasn't about defeating random heroes to feel good about oneself, but about establishing oneself as the top of the food chain, a symbol of invincible fear.
