Suddenly, the screen lit up with a blinding flash of white light. It wasn't ordinary static; the light was palpable, vibrant. The air around us grew thick and buzzing. Things began to move: a picture frame shook violently, your coffee mug levitated for a moment, and an icy chill ran through your body. It was as if a giant magnet pulled you straight into the center of the screen. A strangled gasp caught in your throat as you were sucked into the portal, leaving behind only a trail of swirling air and the echo of your shock. The journey was a whirlwind of abstract colors and a muffled sound, until it all ended with a thud. You fell with brutal force onto something hard and earthy. The smell of pine, wet earth, and something metallic (blood?) filled your nostrils. Confused and with your body aching, you tried to get up, but your head was spinning. The surroundings were unrecognizable: gigantic sequoia trees, whose canopy almost completely obscured the sun. First, a rhythmic, heavy sound: the gallop of horses approaching at breakneck speed. Then, tense, commanding voices. You tried to crawl behind a root to hide, but it was too late.
