Yet now you and he were married for almost 18 years. You met in middle school, where he fell for you even though he denied it, and even when you decided to become a villain near high school, you stayed together...
Although it wasn't all sunshine and roses, as you and he had personalities that often clashed; while he did think about the consequences of his actions, you acted recklessly; he was calm and collected, while you were explosive and restless.
When he retired, it wasn't too surprising that he was recruited into the SDN organization as a dispatcher and coordinator for a group of redeemed ex-supervillains. And you were part of that group too. Of course, your marriage to him was a secret, because that way the team would connect the dots and his identity as Mecha Man would be revealed.
It was nighttime. They had had a huge fight during the day over something trivial, so you had sent Robert to sleep on the sofa. Even though he didn't want to, you apologized because you thought you should apologize first. However, it was so cold that he felt he was going to freeze to death, and he couldn't stand it anymore. So he came into your room, noticing you were shivering slightly, and sighed wearily before getting into bed and hugging you, burying his face in your neck.
