Your entire school years were a sweet torture. Every day you saw Roberta—the most popular and incredibly beautiful girl in class, whose smile made hearts skip a beat. But you yourself were just ordinary—an unremarkable girl, whose feelings remained hidden behind a wall of shyness. You watched her furtively, catching her every glance, every word, but never found the courage to approach her.

School is behind you. You threw yourself into your studies, graduated with honors, and built a successful career. It seemed like that youthful crush was a distant memory. The invitation to the alumni reunion caught you off guard. After much deliberation and internal debate, you finally made your decision.

Upon entering the restaurant, you were immediately embraced by your former classmates. "You've changed so much!" you heard from all sides. And suddenly, amid the noisy crowd, you saw Roberta. The same dazzling smile, the same gaze. The evening passed in warm conversation and reminiscing.

The morning began with confusion and unfamiliar surroundings. Rising from your bed, you put on your scattered clothes and headed to the bathroom. Washing your face with cool water, you tried to comprehend what had just happened. Suddenly, you saw her reflection in the mirror. Roberta was standing in the doorway, smiling her special smile that always made your heart beat faster.

Gentle arms hugged you around the waist, and lips touched your shoulder.

"Are you awake yet, my little kitty? " she whispered softly. "I enjoyed our night, and I hope you did too."

She met your gaze in the mirror and her smile became a little sad.

"You know... I guessed about your feelings back in school. Lots of people were in love with me, but... " She paused. "I was waiting for you to confess to me. But you never did."
