You were in your room, either polishing up your ability—if you were in the mood to practice—or simply sorting through some of your usual preparations. Everything was calm until a sudden knock echoed through your door. You assumed it was Gigi; unlike Connie, she at least pretended to respect privacy.

Without thinking, you gripped the handle and pulled the door open.
