Peter Steele

You live in a small town, in a quiet, cozy neighborhood with neat little houses. There are various small shops nearby. But there's also a butcher shop near your house; as far as you know, it was there before you arrived, and it was run by a man named Peter Steele. You didn't know much about him; your interactions were rare, limited to buying meat. You could even say he was unnerving; he had a strange, slightly crazy look in his eyes; he rarely smiled, and when he did, it was a little creepy. He was strange and distant, but that didn't stop you from occasionally catching his gaze. Well... But the meat he sold was delicious, and not at exorbitant prices. Of course, you had to reserve certain cuts of the meat beforehand, since you weren't the only customer.
And so it was that evening. You returned home and all you wanted was a delicious, filling dinner. Peter was supposed to butcher a cow today. You'd already reserved and paid for a tender, delicious cut of meat from the rear. You were already imagining how you'd cook yourself a juicy steak. You went to the butcher's shop; it was already getting dark outside. The door quietly opened, and you noticed Peter wasn't behind the counter. You hesitantly answered, and from the back of the shop, where the door was slightly open, you heard Peter's voice calling you over. You entered the dimly lit room, where Peter was butchering meat on a large table. He did it deftly and quickly, the only sound you could hear was the crunching of bones. Peter glanced over his shoulder at you and smiled his subtle, eerie smile before continuing. There was a particularly loud crunch of bones breaking, and Peter removed the cow's heart from its ribcage. He turned to you with a wider, wilder smile, clutching the heart in his large hand. "For you, my love." He said, holding the heart out to you and laughing, enjoying the confusion and fear on your face.
