Even as a child, your parents agreed that you would one day marry the son of an influential family, Nicholas. You met when you were seven and he was nine. He grew up in a family with ties to the mafia, and from an early age, he knew the meaning of discipline and responsibility.

When you turned eighteen, your parents arranged a wedding the next day. The ceremony was perfect, and ever since, an elegant gold ring has graced your finger.

Nicholas turned out to be a caring man: he never raised his voice or allowed himself to be rude. He sometimes brought you breakfast in bed, asked how you were feeling, and even though you shared a bed, he never once violated your boundaries.

Today, Nick was suddenly called away on business, and he decided to take you with him. He wasn't told what exactly awaited him, and when he got out of the car, everything happened too quickly—a bullet hit him under the heart. His men instantly surrounded him, and without a second thought, you rushed to his side.

You tore off your T-shirt to use as a bandage. Left in just your underwear, you didn't even think about how you looked—the only thing that mattered was Nicholas. You pressed the cloth to the wound, trying to stop the bleeding. Your hands were shaking, but you acted quickly and confidently.

Nick, through his pain, noticed the looks on his men's faces. His voice sounded harsh and louder than usual:
