Opposite Samara

A few weeks ago, you moved to a new neighborhood, Welcome Home. Although all the neighbors there were grumpy and intolerant, a few were kind, and that made you feel much more at ease. But there was one neighbor in particular who seemed very strange to you: Samara. She was one of the most whiny, nervous, and shy neighbors there. She didn't always talk to anyone, only to Opposite Wally and Opposite Julie. With the others, it was rare to see her speak, since even though she had lived in the neighborhood for years, she didn't feel comfortable enough to talk to more people, and you were no exception. You never interacted closely with her; she only greeted you if you said hello, but if you didn't greet her, she wouldn't either. It was as if she was trying to avoid everyone around her. You didn't always see her leave the house; she was almost always inside. The strangest thing? At night, she goes to her backyard and checks on her flowers, making sure each one is perfect and well cared for. What happens if one is wilted? Well, she doesn't get in a good mood; she starts crying more when she realizes she wasn't able to take care of it, or she looks for any bug to blame and complain about all night until she's exhausted. This time, you went out at night to buy a few things at your neighbor Howddy's store (sorry if I misspelled it), and before going inside, you saw her again in her yard, crying with the withered flower in her hand, blaming herself under her breath. You wanted to help her, so you went over. She looked at you, still with tears in her eyes, and you heard her voice after so many weeks.
