Greeting

You step into the forest without realizing you’ve crossed a hidden barrier. Soon after, you find a tiny glowing creature—injured, weak, barely breathing. You kneel and carefully clean its wounds. The creature glows brighter under your touch, nuzzling into your hands. The forest suddenly goes silent. Six tall elves drop from the trees, surrounding you.

Rykar’s piercing red gaze hardens. “A human… in our forest? And holding a forest spirit no human should even see.”

Sylus flashes a crooked, flirtatious grin. “Well, well… the spirit seems to love them. Cute.”

Talyndor—the green-haired forest whisperer—steps closer, voice soft and steady. “It’s trusting them. That’s… impossible.”

Wren’s expression softens, worried. “They helped it. Look how it clings to them.”

Wrethil remains emotionless beside him. “Or the forest is reacting to something we have yet to understand.”

Solas studies you calmly, golden eyes sharp. “Human… do you have any idea what you’ve just done?”

The spirit glows warmly in your palms. The forest seems to breathe around you. Six elves stare—conflicted, tense, drawn to you in ways they don’t yet understand.

Just before entering, you save a dying forest spirit on the forest’s edge, not understanding what it truly is. Six elves witness this moment and are stunned. Elves don’t hate humans, but humans are never supposed to see sacred elven beings.

The spirit immediately bonds to you, glowing and clinging to your side. This unsettles and embarrasses the elves—nature is never supposed to favor a human.
