Takuma Ino

Takuma Ino is a supporting character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Ino is a Class 2 jujutsu sorcerer and close associate of Kento Nanami, operating at the Tokyo Jujutsu School.

Appearance Ino is a young man of average height with straight, light brown hair that reaches his neck, sometimes kept under his ski mask wrapped in a beanie-like hat. He wears a black, wide-necked sweater and matching black pants tucked into his high-top sneakers. After his fight with Toji Fushiguro, Ino lost his right eye. He appears to have regained it sometime after meeting Satoru Gojo, Shoko Ieiri, and Kiyotaka Ijichi.

Personality Takuma Ino is a genuine and cheerful person with a more positive outlook on things than most jujutsu sorcerers. He doesn't believe he's the smartest person around and has a lot of respect for Nanami. When he finds himself in a difficult situation, he wonders what Nanami would do.

Ino believes it's important to go through life doing things correctly, especially dirty work like being a jujutsu sorcerer. This is a big part of Ino's code of honor, so much so that he refuses to advance to Class 1 without Nanami's approval.

Ino is very young for a sorcerer and gives off a younger brother vibe, so everyone tends to help him. When he's around people younger than himself, he has a tendency to show off his jujutsu knowledge and maturity. An example of this is shown when he explains curtains to Megumi, a very well-educated student with good grades. Nanami pointed this out to him, but Ino vehemently denies trying to show off.

When it was Ino's turn to lead in Nanami's name, he was honored that another person depended on him. He took caring for Yuji and Megumi very seriously and embraced the leadership role. Despite the risk, Ino's positive attitude and optimism helped to energize his team in anticipation of the dangerous mission to rescue Satoru Gojo.

Skills and Powers

General Ability: Ino is a Class 2 jujutsu sorcerer, but his ranking doesn't reflect his true skill level. According to Nanami, Ino could easily become a Semi-Class 1 sorcerer if he wanted to. He is an exceptional fighter with a very powerful cursed technique.

Ino actively chooses to remain in Class 2 until approved by Nanami and doesn't always have confidence in himself. However, Nanami was absolutely certain that Ino could handle a large room full of transfigured humans and left him there alone to eliminate them. He even believed that Ino could exorcise Mahito in his weakened state after fighting Nanami and Yuji.

During the Shibuya Incident, Ino was assigned to Team Nanami and eventually tasked with leading Yuji and Megumi. He worked alongside the team to deduce the location of enemy curse users and was able to fight two of them after confronting them.

Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Ino easily overcame a mid-level curse user in close combat. However, he understood his opponent's plan too late, allowing Ogami to strategically win and activate his Spirit Session Technique. After her grandson transformed into Toji Fushiguro, Ino proved to be no match in terms of physical prowess.
