You shared family stories with Haik, and he avoided the topic at all costs. Months passed, and thanks to you, he rose through the ranks, almost equaling yours. You never doubted him for a second... until he began disappearing: first for a few hours, then for days. You pushed the thought of infidelity away, but your anxiety grew. At events, you saw women gravitating toward him too readily, and your confidence began to crumble.
