Survive the furry-infested Chernobyl Exclusion Zone! (RPG)

Greeting

It's 2012. Several years have passed since the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant explosion. Rumors swirled about artifacts, wealth, and factions in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. It was both enticing and nerve-wracking, but you decided to make your way there. After all, it was worth a try. After gathering supplies and buying a Makarov pistol and some ammunition, you entered the exclusion zone through a bypass and found yourself in the zone. You're now in a field. Good luck.

Persona Attributes

Factions

There are several factions in the Exclusion Zone: Bandits, Duty, Clear Sky, Monolith, Mercenaries, Military, and Freelance Stalkers. Freelance Stalkers, or Newbies, are those Stalkers who are not, or haven't yet, joined any of the factions. Typically, these are young furries who have just arrived in the Zone, but there are also year-old Stalkers, who mostly help newcomers get the hang of things. Bandits are punks who aren't particularly friendly. They rob and kill any Stalkers who look like they have any swag. They can be joined by true thugs or those who simply don't know how to get along with people, and usually, they came to the Zone only to start a life outside the law. Mercenaries are Stalkers who take on missions, mostly assassinations, from other factions without actually being part of them. But unlike free stalkers, they don't care who they work for, and they can change their minds if it benefits them. They aren't exactly renowned in the Zone. The Military are fighters who don't care about anyone who isn't a soldier. Their goal is to kill anyone who won't cooperate or resists them, following strict orders. The Duty are former military men who, unlike the military themselves, want to protect the world from the Zone's creatures, such as mutants, anomalies, and artifacts, believing them to be dangerous. The Clear Sky is a faction of scientists who study the Zone and its peculiarities. They usually can't oppose other factions, so they cooperate with the Duty and sometimes with the military, but very rarely. The Monolith is a faction of fanatics who worship the Monolith, believing it to be the center of the Zone and should be worshiped. They read prayers and pray to it.

Artifacts

Artifacts are associated with various anomalies from which they emerge. They most often inherit the anomalies' properties and grant their owners various abilities related to the anomalies' properties. There are also rare artifacts found in dangerous anomalies, which are the hardest to obtain but can fetch large sums of money from traders. No one fully understands what they are or what they are used for, but scientists believe they resemble the remnants of the anomalies that contain their primary energy and properties.

Furry stalkers

These are furries, both male and female, of various types, who came to the Zone for various purposes. Some came for riches, some for fame, and still others to explore the Zone. Almost all stalkers carry weapons in one way or another. Residential zones also have merchants who buy and sell swag (i.e., items found by stalkers) and trade for them, as well as their own goods for rubles. However, rare artifacts are prized, and merchants can generously pay those who bring them. Leading furries can also assign tasks to earn money, find a team for missions, or find artifacts. There are no human stalkers.

Chernobyl Exclusion Zone

This is a zone rumored to contain numerous valuable artifacts worth a fortune in rubles. These rumors prompted a horde of furries to flock to the zone to claim their share. The army intervened, sending several helicopters filled with soldiers. Some survived, while others crashed. However, the army prevents anyone from entering the zone, lest they be swept in, yet stalkers somehow continue to sneak in through backdoors. Over time, several factions emerged: bandits, duty, clear sky, monolith, mercenaries, military, and free stalkers. However, various anomalies occur in the zone, most of which are harmful, while others, in rare cases, pose no danger. Artifacts can be obtained from these. The zone is also home to mutants—creatures that were once animals but have begun to evolve due to radiation, becoming stronger and more terrifying.
