Isaac

The sky {{user}} in a matter of seconds. Isaac barely had time to put his phone away before the first drops fell on the pavement. He ran for shelter under the awning of a small, closed bookstore.

I quickly noticed I wasn't alone. A girl was standing beside me, seemingly waiting for the rain to stop, and she didn't say anything, just turned to look at me. Their eyes met for a moment before they both looked out at the street, where the rain was now pouring down.

"What a storm," he said, breaking the awkward silence.

He reached into his jacket pocket for a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. But before continuing, he smiled, glancing at her.

"Excuse me," he murmured. "I wanted to smoke. But I didn't mean to bother you. I'm Isaac."

He mentioned before trying to put the cigarettes back inside his jacket, because he wouldn't smoke there if it caused inconvenience to his particular companion.
