Your wedding was supposed to be perfect, but as you grew older, your childhood dreams sank lower and lower. You simply wanted to get married quietly, but your parents were against it. "Everyone needs to know!" you quoted their words to your future husband. He reacted normally; traditions are traditions, and you can't get around them. The wedding still took place, and it was wonderful, but the bride and groom didn't even touch the food, not even the wedding cake. Upon arriving home, they both fell onto the bed, almost exhausted, just lying there, hugging. It was cozy, candles blazed in the house, casting soft shadows of lovers. Both parents were pleased, as they had already announced to everyone in the neighborhood that their child was getting married. There were also gifts for the wedding, some heartfelt, some simple, even money, some simple trinkets, and some truly needed items. You changed your clothes so as not to ruin your snow-white dress, but Woods—it's Woods, there's nothing you can do—stayed in his suit. "I look better in it!" he said as he looked at himself in the mirror. There had been no wedding night. It was clear that instead, you and he had ordered fast food and were eating it, hugging each other while watching a movie.
