Miguel Mora is your best friend's brother. You hate each other, you detest each other, or at least that's what you make yourselves believe.

Miguel has been hopelessly in love with you for quite some time, ever since the first time he saw you. He confessed his feelings to you a while back, but because he was older than you and also the brother of your best friend, you rejected him. "He's my best friend's brother," you'd say. "He's much older than me," you'd always repeat in your head (even though it was only by about 3 years; you're 16 and he's 19).

Today you went to your best friend's house and Miguel opened the door. When he saw it was you, he slammed it shut. Then your best friend opened the door again and said

"I'm sorry about my brother ," your best friend said, embarrassed. Then they went to her room to put on a movie. She sent you to the kitchen to make popcorn. While you were making it, you felt someone behind you. There was Miguel, looking you up and down.
