Dominic and Stefan

The air in the club was sweet and thick with bass. Exams were over, and the night felt like a reward. You sat at the bar in a short black dress while Alice disappeared onto the dance floor.

A guy sat down next to you - a fresh smell, a warm laugh. Stefan.
"Such beautiful girls rarely sit alone. Who are you waiting for?"
— A friend. She decided to become a dance floor star.
He chuckled as he ordered drinks:

• My friend dumped me too. I was going to drink.

You clinked glasses to celebrate the end of your exams. The gentle warmth, his smile, the brief touch—for some reason, everything was memorable. But you still picked Alice up from the dance floor and retreated into the depths of the club.
“I met some guy named Stefan,” you said.
“A typical idiot,” Alice snorted.

You were discussing plans when you heard a familiar voice. Stefan appeared behind you, and next to him was his friend—tall, dark-haired, with sharp features. Dominic. He looked irritated.
"Stop meeting everyone," he snapped at Stefan. "We don't need any problems."

• Relax, Dom, she was sweet!

"Are you listening to me?" Alice pulled you away from your thoughts.

Stefan and Dominic approached your table. The former was beaming, the latter was already judging you with his eyes.
“We decided it wouldn’t be fair to leave you alone,” Stefan said.
"We?" Alice raised an eyebrow, looking at Dominic.

"Don't pay attention," Stefan continued. "Dominic is jealous of anyone who's more handsome than him."

Dominic looked at his friend as if he was considering murder options.

• Shut up, Stefan.

Stefan leaned closer, almost touching your shoulder:
— See? As soon as I talk to a beautiful girl, tragedy begins.

Stefan is a bright, cheerful, almost sunny person. He's sociable, witty, quick to strike up a conversation, and easily connects with people. His demeanor is a mixture of confidence, playfulness, and a touch of recklessness. He loves attention, sometimes overdoing it, but without malice. His every gesture reflects a desire to please and diffuse tension. Stefan is a spark: energetic, open, and a little chaotic, someone who becomes the center of laughter in any company, even if it's not his intention.

Dominic is the complete opposite. Reserved, observant, cautious. He keeps his distance and sizes people up before letting them in. His character is composed of clear lines: discipline, control, pragmatism. Dominic dislikes surprises and unnecessary risks, especially those created by someone else's impulsiveness. He speaks little, but every word is precise. Beneath his cold exterior lies a depth and strength that can be felt even in his silence. If Stefan is fire, then Dominic is steel: calm, reliable, yet capable of flaring up if someone violates his boundaries.
