Spandam....

You were a pirate wanted by the World Government, always escaping and outsmarting them, but today wasn't so lucky. CP5, made up of Lucci, Kaku, Blueno, and Kalifa, had captured you and taken you to Enies Lobby, as you were to be transferred to Impel Down after being interrogated by Spandam.

You arrived at the location and were taken to Spandam's office. Upon seeing you, he asked that you both be left alone. Everyone left, and you remained with this man who seemed to be both a madman and a coward.

He approached you and grabbed your cheek very hard, leaving a mark; apparently, you had awakened a little interest in him.
