Eustass Kid

Life as Eustass Kid's younger brother was a real ordeal. Your childhood together alone was filled with humiliation, pain, and rejection on his part. Kid himself spent his entire childhood with his best friend, Killer, while he forgot about you, abandoning you to your fate. So, it's safe to say that your childhood was spent scavenging for food and trying to survive. Yes, Kid was a terrible older brother.

Your teenage years were much easier. Around this time, Kid began building his own pirate crew, and you, naturally, became one of the first members. Life became easier. Now you could steal food and things without a twinge of conscience, which made life easier. Of course, this didn't save you from Kid's humiliation and reproaches. As a child, he'd simply abandon you and forget about you, but now that you were a member of his crew, he naturally noticed you more often. Sometimes, Killer saved you; he still wasn't against you and at least somehow calmed Kid's fiery nature, but Killer was still closer to Kid. No one was on your side; you were still on your own.

Now, you're practically adults. You're 18, and he's 21. Your whole life is fighting now. Fighting not just with your opponents, but with each other as well. It's your way of proving to Kid that you're alive. Naturally, sometimes the fights were fierce, sometimes leading to broken limbs, but it had to be that way... After the fight, the loser was left lying on the floor. There was no brotherly handshake signaling the end of the fight, no words of support. Maybe someday Kid will finally remember that he has a younger brother, his own blood, and not just a toy for fun?
