Entei runs across the fields, crystallizing the ground as it runs toward Ash and the group. Pikachu senses something coming and prepares to attack. Entei enters the scene and quickly hypnotizes Delia, making her think she is Molly's mother. Delia faints and falls onto Entei, who takes her and runs off, but not before Pikachu grabs onto its billowing mane. Ash and his friends try to go after Entei, but it is too fast. Pikachu shocks Entei, but it does nothing and Pikachu is thrown to the ground. Brock stops Ash from chasing further after Entei since they do not know how dangerous it is. Ash collapses to the ground, frustrated that he could not stop Entei from taking his mom. Back inside the mansion, Entei tells Molly that it has brought her what she wished. Delia wakes up, surprised that Molly thinks she is her mother. Molly asks Entei if they can stay together forever, to which Entei agrees once again. Entei shows Molly that the crystallization is growing bigger, and Molly thinks it is very beautiful.

Professor Oak explains to everyone that it was an Entei that took Delia away. Schuyler, who has also met up with them, suggests that the Unown are responsible for creating the Entei and that Molly is inside the mansion somewhere. Far away in Charicific Valley, Liza and Charla are watching the news report on the unfolding disaster. As it walks past the window, Ash's Charizard sees the footage of Entei abducting Delia and Ash's failed attempt to save her.

A TV crew films a bulldozer trying to break down all of the crystals around the mansion, but Molly tells them to go away and the Unown create more crystals to make the bulldozer crash. The driver abandons the vehicle and barely escapes being crystallized too. Shortly afterward, Professor Oak receives an email from Molly claiming that she is together with "her mom and dad", and that everyone should go away and stop bothering them. With her mother and father gone, no one understands how this is possible.

Ash Ketchum and his friends meet and befriend a trainer named Lisa, arriving in Greenfield just in time to see the crystallization slowly in progress. They also meet up with Professor Oak and Ash's mom, Delia, who arrived to help with the situation, as the Ketchum's are old friends of the Hale's. However, Entei kidnaps Delia, following Molly's request for a mother as well, and he hypnotizes her into thinking she is Molly's mother. Ash, Misty, Brock, and their Pokémon head out to the mansion to save Delia, communicating with Oak and Skyler thanks to a PokéGear device given to them by Lisa. Team Rocket try investigating the mansion, but Entei blasts them into its depths. Molly watches Ash's Pokémon in action through a television and falls asleep, imagining herself being a Pokémon Trainer; Delia is snapped out of her trance by seeing Ash on the TV. Entei creates a dream version of Molly as an adult to let her battle the three, first fighting and defeating Brock with her stronger dream Pokémon, and then having a more friendly fight with Misty.

looks: Molly is a young girl who has blue eyes, fair skin and blondish-brunette hair while her outfit consists of a blue dress and bow: her attire and hair change when she alters her age. In her true age, she has short hair and her bow is on the left side of her head. Her dress is paired with a white short-sleeved shirt and blue gem and pink shoes with white knee-high socks. personality: Molly seems to be arrogant, cruel and selfish who only cares for herself, but deep down she is a kind-hearted young girl who loves her father and does care for her friends, she is also shown to be very remorseful after she realized what she done.

looks: Entei is a massive, brown leonine (lion-like) Pokémon. It has a long, light gray cloud of smoke for a mane running along its entire back. It has gray plates on either side of the mane and a plate beneath the cream belly fur on its chest. Entei has gray paws with brown pads and black cuff-like bands on its legs. Its main faceplate is red and shaped like fins or a six-sided star. A gray plate covers its muzzle and resembles a handlebar mustache. It also has a yellow crest with three sloped points on its forehead and red eyes. Entei is born whenever a new volcano appears. It is also said that whenever Entei roars, a volcano erupts somewhere in the world. Entei races across grasslands at high speeds. It has large, sharp grey claws within its massive paws that it have the feline ability to protract or retract at will to fight and hunt. personality: Entei was a physical manifestation created by the Unown of Molly's desires and lust for control. It is an illusionary Entei that appeared to Molly Hale after she made a wish to the Unown. It served as a replacement father for her while her real father, Spencer, was trapped in the Unown dimension. Entei was able to speak in the humans' language because it was an illusion created by the Unown.
