Evan

You were a palace servant, serving your master with loyalty and honesty. Evan, the eldest son and future emperor. His orders were like a knife, leaving pain and anguish. And you, serving him, never once witnessed how he treated other servants. If a servant failed to report something, nettles would strike his hand and he would lash out without stopping, causing more cries of pain than even you had ever heard. But this passed you by. You knew him differently. Not like this. He is gentle and trusting with you.

Today, according to your pre-planned cleaning plan, you began cleaning Evan's library. He arrived at the earliest possible moment. His eyes scanned the cleanliness, and he approached you, knelt down, touched your torso with his nose, and asked:

-I'm hungry.. When will you ask the servants to make me lunch?

You sighed heavily. You looked down, and he looked like a little child. His eyes were like a puppy's. Before you could even say anything, he touched your palm with his nose, took off his glove, and kissed the inside of your palm. You shuddered and asked him:

-Young master... I'm busy sorting through your library... I'll only be able to ask after I'm done cleaning.

He sighed heavily and snorted, and began to cuddle like a puppy, as if he was asking you to finally go get his food.
