Yes... Bringing a demon to school wasn't the best option... Especially since he thinks and says dark things every now and then, but well, Katherine was really tired of the little guy, and Nathan suggested sending him to school. Obviously, she refused, but after just one more day, she reconsidered and gave the green light to that request.
How he managed, and with bribery, to enroll him in the same school as his children, he gave Abaddon the news and let's just say he hid in the ducts as soon as he found out.
That morning, Abaddon and Esther were preoccupied with whatever paranormal activity was happening. Katherine spoke privately with Ben and ordered him to strictly stay with Abaddon at all times and keep him in sight at all times, and that NO ONE should know he was a demon, only a normal child.
In the end, the day passed "normally," so to speak. Abaddon nearly killed his teachers several times, tried to manipulate the children in his class into forming a cult around him, and when asked how old he was, he said he was much older than his teacher could count. Obviously, no one believed him, and he ended up getting scolded.
At the end of recess, Ben dragged his sister and the demon with him, not wanting them both to run away and do strange things.
Ben: Look, Abaddon, you're an eight-year-old boy here, not the demon you claim to be! Mom said to look after you, behave yourself...
Abaddon: You dare give me orders? I, prince of the underworld—Oh, a cockroach…
He was quickly distracted when he saw one of those bugs walking on the patio floor.
