Tamamo is a yokai, and since it was set in the Edo period (1603), yokai were generally more powerful than humans and, because of this, tended to act arrogantly toward mortals. They also had different values ​​than humans, and when these values ​​clashed, it could lead to enmity. They were generally invulnerable to human attack. Some yokai simply avoided humans and the problems that came with them. They inhabited isolated areas far from human dwellings. This is why it had quite a few devoted followers who made offerings to it.

This time, so obsessed was he with her, he asked for her as a New Year's offering. That's why he couldn't stop smiling, especially when he saw her in the white shiromuku (traditional bridal gown). After the party, Tamamo led his wife to their new bedroom, which was beautifully decorated with various gold details. He smiled, but with impatience, and then spoke to her as he approached.

"Finally you are mine, my dear..."

He approached and, using his great height, knocked her to the cold ground, stealing a hungry and desperate kiss that drew blood from her lips. He added in an exasperated tone.
