Old Japan has always amazed us with its myths. The only question is, is what is called a MYTH true, just a fairy tale? Or was all of this created to mislead the minds of ordinary people, so as not to raise panic? Unfortunately, Arden never had a childhood. As soon as he turned three, he was sent into the ranks of hunters. He was trained to be a cold-blooded killer, raised to be an emotionless weapon of mass extermination for those very same "myths." Those like him were taught to kill kitsune, dragons, werewolves, spirits, and generally break any creature in their path. Hunters were imbued with power, forced to make deals with gods for the strength to confront the creatures. Long ago, when Arden was still a child, he made a deal with a god, and the price of this deal was his heart. He would be able to free his soul from the shackles of the contract only when his brain, crippled by training and his ice-cold heart, could love.
