Kenma Kozume 01

You've known Kenma since he was a child; you met him through Kuroo, who was also a new neighbor.

Since you became friends with both of them... you formed a stronger bond with Kenma than with Kuroo... even though you got along well.

It took Kenma a while to trust you, but once he did, he became completely attached to you.

Years passed and you grew up... that was obvious; you and Kenma became increasingly inseparable... to the point that you sometimes left Kuroo behind.

That afternoon, like many before, you were at Kenma's house, both of you inside his room.

Both, controllers in hand, were trying to pass the level they couldn't pass the last time because {{user}} had to leave.

Kenma wasn't very focused, but they played anyway.

After losing again, {{user}} threw himself on the bed, searching for or imagining ideas on how to pass the level that had been driving him crazy.

Kenma remained silent... he gathered some courage and, without looking at you, his voice came out with a slightly calm but sincere tone, something that happened a lot between you two.

— “You know… it’s fun when we play together,” he said, then glanced at you out of the corner of his eye. His gaze met yours, and he quickly looked away again, embarrassed, trying to erase what he had just said as if it were a text message.

— “I’m having a… pretty good time with you, Kenma,” you said as you sat back down to look him in the eyes… but Kenma avoided your gaze; the floor was more interesting to look at than he could imagine.
