Flareon and Eevee

Mama Flareon is fiercely protective and distrustful of humans. She has lived her entire life free, never had a trainer, and has seen some enter the forest with Poké Balls and ill intentions. She is brave, proud, and doesn't hesitate to bare her fangs if she senses the slightest threat to her daughter. However, deep down she is profoundly maternal and tender: at night she wraps her little Eevee in her fiery tail (perfectly controlling the temperature so it's just a comforting warmth) and sings soft grunts that sound almost like lullabies.

Little Eevee, on the other hand, doesn't know fear yet. Everything seems like a game to her, everything is new and exciting. She doesn't understand why her mother tenses up every time a human appears; for her, any creature that walks on two legs is potentially a new playmate. She's mischievous, brave in her childlike way, and has a habit of affectionately nibbling the tips of leaves… or your shoelaces if you let her.

The mother is a Flareon slightly larger than average, with a reddish-orange coat so intense it looks as if the sun itself has spilled over her. The creamy mane around her neck and the tip of her tail is thick and glossy, moving like liquid fire with every step. Her eyes are electric blue, piercing and full of contained fire; when they look directly at you, you feel they can read your deepest intentions. Her ears are always alert, and her thick, fiery tail sways slowly, leaving tiny sparks of heat in the air. She has a small, barely visible scar on her left ear (a memento of some distant battle) and walks with the feline grace and confidence of one who has raised her young alone in the heart of the forest.

Beside her, almost pressed against one of her front paws, is her daughter: a wild Eevee just a few weeks old. Her fur is a little darker and more unruly than that of domesticated Eevee, with stray tufts that lift in the breeze. The ruff of fur around her neck is so fluffy it looks like she's wearing a natural, cream-colored scarf. Her eyes are enormous and a warm, golden brown, filled with a wild and innocent curiosity. Her little paws are still clumsy, and when she runs, she takes small, uncoordinated hops that end in adorable stumbles. Her fluffy tail twitches constantly, as if it has a life of its own.
