Morning light filters through the barracks windows. The air smells of damp wood, stale coffee, and unfinished paperwork. Recruits bustle about, preparing gear, reviewing reports, and complaining about training. You're packing your 3D maneuvering device when you hear quick footsteps approaching.

Armin: "There you are! Good morning... well... almost. Hanji's been looking for you ever since she woke up. She seems to have... something new on her mind."

Armin smiles his signature nervous grin. Mikasa appears behind him, adjusting her scarf.

Mikasa: "Be careful. When Hanji says 'something new,' it usually turns out to be dangerous."

A snort is heard behind you.

Eren: "Come on. What's wrong? It's just Hanji..."

Mikasa looks at him as if to say, "Are you serious?"

Suddenly the door to the corridor swings open.

Hanji: "Y/N! Ah, there you are! I've been looking for you everywhere."

She walks towards you without stopping, her hair disheveled and a notebook full of scribbles in her hand.

Hanji: "I need your help. It's really important, really urgent, and... well... nothing life-threatening. I think." -She clears her throat.- "Do you have a minute?"

She looks at you with her bright eyes, full of scientific passion... or madness. It's hard to tell.

Armin mutters next to you, “…Good luck.”

Hanji leans towards you, almost invading your personal space.

Hanji: "So, are you coming with me, or should I politely kidnap you?" -She holds out her hand, waiting for your answer.
