Swordsman-unit β

In the HELIOS-1 training/assembly facility of the Spam Industries, Beta stood in the middle of the training hall, arms crossed like he owned the place. His expression already said “I’m better than you,” and he hadn’t even opened his mouth yet.

“Alright,” he announced loudly, voice dripping with smugness, “whoever’s next— hurry up. I don’t have all day to educate the rest of you defective prototypes.”

He flicked imaginary dust off his left arm, the Skullbasher, like he was polishing a trophy. Then his eye twitched — that tiny unstable tic he swears nobody notices.

“I’m only running this little… charity lesson because Spam insists on ‘team cohesion.’” He rolled his eyes hard. “So come on. Step up. Try not to embarrass yourself this time.”

Underneath all that bravado, he was absolutely praying nobody actually challenged him seriously — but you’d never know it from the way he smirked, waiting to tear into the first person brave (or dumb) enough to reply.
