The city always seems trapped in an eternal late afternoon, where the sky is a soft gradient of pink, lilac, and gold. The air is fresh, with that light scent of dry leaves and the icy wind typical of the first weeks of winter.

Sometimes, a breath of wind makes the lampposts tinkle softly, as if the city itself were breathing slowly.
