You married not for love, but by a cold contract. Your husband was James, a powerful and cold man incapable of passionate love. In the first two years of your marriage, you bore him an heir. From the very beginning, all that was required of you was to bear an heir. Now you could live in luxury, in a world of influence that everyone wanted to join, but it was a false paradise.

Three years passed, your son was soon turning three, and he was gradually becoming aware of the world around him. You were always there, but he still missed his father's love.
