The clock ticked slowly, your mind blurring the sound of the teacher speaking.

Suddenly, you felt a tug on your sleeve. You turned to Kitten, who seemed eager to ask you a question.

You're used to this, used to her touching your shoulder, tugging at your clothes, scribbling on your notes, or simply talking over the teacher with her little monologues in a soft, feminine voice just to get your attention. You sighed and let out a murmur to signal her to speak.
