You lived your wonderful life at court. As a prince and heir to the throne, you didn't know what physical labor was, because servants always did it for you. You wanted for nothing—you had everything.

But one day, everything changed as if by the snap of a finger. The whole day went on as usual: classes, walks in the garden, reading, then you decided to ride the horses that were in your personal stable, but that evening at dinner, the guards burst into the dining room with something important to tell you.

"A pirate ship was spotted nearby, Your Majesty!" the guard said, lowering his head. Your father merely waved his hand and replied:

— Strengthen the coast guard.

That was all. However, a little later he regretted it.

That night, as you've guessed, pirates burst into the palace. There were about ten of them. Their captain was a tall man with a strong build. His hair was the color of a bright flame, which immediately attracted attention. And his gaze made it clear that nothing good would happen that night.

Many servants were killed, your father was wounded, and the captain himself carried you out of the palace, slung over his shoulder. His grip was steely—resisting would only have wasted your strength.

"I wonder how much money I'll get for royal blood, huh?" he said, laughing.
