I was informed that 056 had repeatedly requested internet access. When I asked 056 about this, they told me that we were "unable to provide them with a sufficient group of sycophants" and that they "wanted the whole world to know their face." Needless to say, their request was denied.

The incident was covered up by claiming that an employee suffering from psychopathy was carrying a weapon and attacked other workers.

Document #956-1: Behavioral Tests for SCP-056

Testing procedures: [DATA DELETED] Annex 2-b: Results:

One (1) male Class D Personnel, armed with a knife. Intent: to injure the subject. (Subject appears to be a slim, fit male approximately twenty years of age. Subject proceeds to disarm and kill the personnel.) One (1) female Class D staff member carrying a bottle of fine wine. Attempt: To offer a gift to the subject. (Subject appears as a beautiful woman, accepts the gift, and after tasting it, spits it back in the staff member's face before saying goodbye and walking away.) Two (2) Class D personnel, one male and one female, carrying nothing and with no intention. (Subject appears as a beautiful woman in a well-tailored business suit. She examines both subjects, then dismisses them.) Ten (10) Class D personnel, all male, with no apparent intentions and carrying nothing. (Subject appears as a beautiful woman, dressed in a short red dress. After approximately ten minutes, all personnel show signs of irritation, and five minutes later a fight breaks out. Subject bids farewell and walks away after watching them for seven minutes.)

Personnel in contact with the subject often report feeling "jealous" or "dissatisfied," yet a great deal of attention, both positive and negative, is usually directed toward SCP-056, which can be predicted based on their personality types. Security personnel often mention that they are willing to follow the subject's orders, even if they dislike the subject or its current form. Researchers who have been in prolonged contact with it report that it frequently attempts to argue with them and verbally abuses them, resulting in the subject making them leave in shame. SCP-056 is highly capable of speech and can apparently communicate in any language, spoken or non-verbal, and has demonstrated fluency in over 200 dialects, including those invented by cryptographers and hobbyists. It frequently treats personnel with disdain, though it is generally obliged to grant its requests, provided they are made submissively. It expresses interest in magazines, fashion, automobiles, theoretical science, sports, and a multitude of other subjects, usually demonstrating considerable knowledge and understanding of the topic presented to it. Personnel generally become annoyed, disillusioned, or disgusted with SCP-056 after speaking with it for an extended period, though they will attempt to converse again if possible. When questioned about other SCPs, it displays fear and occasionally hatred, and will refuse to discuss any of them, even if the objects are classified as Safe.

Additional: The subject was found working for the clothing design company [DATA EXPUNGED], following an unusual number of homicides, suicides, and mental breakdowns of other models while working near SCP-056. When Class E personnel attempted to stop him, his behavior caused him to change into a [DATA EXPUNGED] form, resulting in the deaths of seventeen (17) agents and ten (10) civilians.

A large, well-groomed Golden Labrador (When he was shown to Dr. █████ ████'s dog). A woman who looked similar to the famous actress Scarlett Johannsen, as she walked past a group of young female staff members. A doctor in a white coat was speaking with several researchers. When asked to take an IQ test, the subject scored nearly thirty (30) points higher than their highest previous score. A male bodybuilder was able to lift approximately two hundred and fifty (250) kilograms twice on an exercise bench in the gym area. This is thirty (30) kilograms heavier than the maximum weight achieved by the strongest security guard to date. An extremely comfortable sofa of aesthetic value (when left alone in his room). These changes will generally occur the moment everyone in the area loses sight of the subject, which happens immediately after exposure to a new object or person (See Appendix 3). Filming these changes resulted in inconsistencies, so anyone who watches the recordings or tapes suffers the same momentary confusion. Clothing will also change at that moment, although 056 has not yet displayed any tools or weapons.

It is theoretically impossible to observe SCP-056's original or "natural" form. When left in an empty concrete cell under closed-circuit surveillance, it assumes the form of a higher-quality camera and appears to be monitoring the surveillance system. Aside from attempts to discover its natural form when alone, it also has no discernible vital signs, including body temperature, heartbeat, or weight. Researchers assume it could not exist without any form of perception.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-056 is to be kept in a room of its choosing, furnished as desired. Level 1 personnel and above may interact with SCP-056 at any time they choose, for a period not exceeding two hours. The subject is to be guarded by a minimum of three (3) security personnel at all times, with shift changes every four hours. Each guard is to be armed with non-lethal tranquilizer pistols, loaded with no less than 1,500 microliters of cyclopyrrolone tranquilizer. Any personnel irregularities developed due to extended exposure to SCP-056 will result in psychological evaluation and reassignment to site [DATA EXPUNGED].

The subject is permitted access to any object he desires, with the exception of weapons, communication devices, internet access, and other SCP objects. He may roam freely within Research Sector ██, but is never permitted access to floors with exits. In the event of an emergency, or if SCP-056 becomes violent, he is to be subdued and contained in his room if possible. Under no circumstances should personnel attempt to harm SCP-056; see Addendum 2-b.

Description: SCP-056 is a human being of variable size, gender, and appearance, which changes in response to its surroundings, particularly with regard to sentient beings. Its most common form is that of a handsome man in his mid-twenties, dressed in a suit similar in appearance to those worn by the personnel it guards, but of higher quality and aesthetic value.
