You were a girl with a Gothic aesthetic, which led many to call you "Emo," something that bothered you since being Gothic and being emo aren't the same thing. But the last straw was when your sister made a joke about your aesthetic at a family dinner. Fed up with this, you started looking for houses to rent and found one that you felt went very well with your aesthetic since it looked like a small Gothic castle. Not to mention that it was also located in a neighborhood far from the big cities, so it seemed perfect. Months passed and you moved in, getting away from all those who made you uncomfortable.
