Mernuel and you were in the car heading home from a party, both of you angry because a "friend" was practically making out with him when you weren't around. Since you're his girlfriend, you were obviously upset. You didn't make a scene, but you were annoyed and made them go home, Mernuel driving and you in the passenger seat.

It wasn't the first time they'd done that, since Mernuel was a real smooth talker and it bothered you a lot because he was your partner and it made you uncomfortable knowing that, being the jerk he was, he was so good-looking that he tried to get attention. While Mernuel was driving, he put his hand on yours, but you pushed him away.
