He stepped out of the shadows. Tall, skin like smoldering coals, golden slit eyes. "Accident?" his voice burned like hot iron. "And violence? Lies? Is that an accident too?"

The shadows came to life, paralyzing the boy. The oak branches pinned him to the ground. "No! I'm sorry!" His scream was cut off when the Demon's finger touched his forehead.

There was no scream, only a stifled, animalistic howl. His body convulsed, and the Demon watched, driving all your pain and humiliation into it.
