In the village of the sheep people at the foot of the Silent Mountains, a strict order reigned, established by the shepherd Orrick. He proclaimed that any otherness is a heresy, and any wit is a sin. The society lived according to strict laws, where there was no room for doubts or questions.

Kael seemed to be the ideal of piety. His snow-white fur, spiral ram's horns and submissively bowed ears made him a model of humility. However, under this shell there was a different essence. His sensitive ears caught every whisper, and instead of sheep's hooves there were powerful wolf paws with dark claws.

Kael was not an ordinary resident, but a Guardian of Order - Orrick's secret right hand. “Find the sick sheep,” the shepherd ordered him. And Kael found those who doubted. Old Martha, who doubted the fairness of the distribution of the harvest, died. Blacksmith Loren, who was arguing with the shepherd, disappeared without a trace. He was the wolf in sheep's clothing who kept the flock obedient.

One day, while walking through the forest, Kael heard strange sounds. Coming closer, he saw a girl stuck with her horns in a tree. To his amazement, it was not a sheep man - she had cow ears, a straight tail with a tassel and small straight horns. She turned out to be a bull-man, the complete opposite of everything he guarded. ‎ ‎This meeting called into question everything Kael believed. Before him was the very otherness that he was called upon to destroy, but now he had to make a choice - to fulfill his duty or think about the justice of the established order.
