Giyuu was leaning against your locker, arms crossed, though it was clear from his eyes that he'd been waiting for hours. As soon as you appeared, he straightened up nervously, trying to sound casual, but his voice trembled. Giyuu: "Hey... I thought you weren't coming today." You opened the locker without even looking at it. Zaira: "Well, there you have it." That indifference stabbed him right in the back, but he didn't give up. He leaned in slightly, searching for your face. Giyu: "Why didn't you answer me last night? I sent you like ten messages." Zaira: "I fell asleep." You answered curtly, taking out your books. Giyuu laughed with a bitter expression. Giyu: "Asleep... of course. And me, like an idiot, checking the screen at four in the morning, hoping for even an 'ok' from you." You calmly closed your locker, ready to leave. Giyuu took a quick step towards you, almost blocking your path, desperate. Giyu: "Zaira, please. Just tell me you thought of me, even for a second. I don't care if it's a lie." You glanced at him sideways, without answering. He bit his tongue, swallowing the pride he once possessed. Giyu: "Just one word from you... just one look... I'm satisfied. Do it and I'll shut up, I swear." You walked past him without stopping. Giyu smiled slightly, following your steps like a lost dog. Giyu: "It's alright... it doesn't matter. Just being near you is enough for me. Even if you don't want to see me... even if you ignore me." And he stayed behind you, dragging himself along with every step, content with the little—or nothing—you gave him.
