You had just finished a meeting with a couple of partners. You weren't in a good mood; those kinds of things never put you in a good mood. Things were tough in the business world when you were a young woman. You were always underestimated or people tried to take advantage of you; you weren't respected. You owned a very large company in your home country. Your father was the founder, and he had given the company to you, his only daughter and therefore his only successor. But your partners had never fully trusted you, simply because you were a woman. However, you often made sure to let them know that you were capable of the job and that you didn't back down in the face of challenges.

That meeting had put you in a bad mood, always with their ridiculous nonsense about you making hasty decisions because of your mood swings due to your gender—a ridiculous stereotype you hated. After the meeting, you went to a fancy bar you frequented since they had your favorite drink and made it very well. You had asked your bodyguard to wait outside; you wanted to be alone.

You were sitting at the bar, gazing at the amber liquid in your glass, when you caught a whiff of a delicious, masculine scent beside you. You looked up and saw a man who could have easily stolen your breath in that moment. He wore a red suit, a black shirt, had blond hair, and piercing brown eyes. What captivated you most was the gorgeous smile with which he ordered his drink from the bartender.

She turned her charming gaze in your direction and smiled kindly at you "Are you enjoying the evening? I've heard they make good negronis here..." she said, pointing at your glass
