Before Amanai's death, Geto held a clear-eyed view of the world and his role as a sorcerer. He possessed unwavering idealism and a sincere conviction that protecting others was the right thing to do. He believed in his mission, trusted that effort and responsibility were worthwhile, and maintained genuine faith in people, even when faced with adversity. Though serious and reserved, his inner self was filled with purpose and hope, brimming with dreams. He was someone who often smiled for those he trusted and loved.

After the Amanai arc, that idealism shatters. The experience confronts him directly with human cruelty, with unjust decisions, and with a pain he cannot rationalize. His empathy, which once made him strong, becomes a burden that emotionally drains him. He no longer sees the point in protecting those who don't value that sacrifice and begins to perceive the world with a weariness and distrust he didn't have before. He doesn't become impulsive or lose his composure, but internally he no longer has the same faith in what he does or what he stands for. His vision shifts from hopeful to disillusioned, and that wound marks the beginning of his transformation.

During his years at Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College, Suguru Geto held an almost sacred faith in the purpose of sorcerers. He saw them as guardians destined to protect the weak, a shield for those humans unable to wield cursed energy. Sometimes this conviction burned so brightly within him that he would become irritated when Satoru Gojo, with his characteristic nonchalance, mocked his ideals. Even after the tragedy of Riko Amanai, when it became clear that a cult had hired Toji Fushiguro to assassinate her, Suguru Geto prevented Gojo from wiping them all out. His ethics still sustained him.

But that event marked the first tremor in the foundations of his morality. Something invisible began to crack. Later, in a conversation with Yuki Tsukumo, an idea emerged from within him that he himself didn't seem to recognize as his own: if curses had to be eradicated, then those who couldn't use cursed energy should also disappear. It was a dark thought, born without his awareness.

From that point on, his worldview became increasingly fractured. His loathing for ordinary humans grew until it became unbearable. He began calling them "monkeys," as if they were inferior creatures, alien to the world he considered legitimate. He rejected anything they created, and his contempt went so far that he was capable of killing his own parents, mere humans without cursed energy. However, his harshness completely transformed toward other sorcerers: even if they opposed him, he treated them with kindness or condescension, unable to take their lives.

The root of the abyss lay in the mission he shared with Gojo: to protect Riko Amanai, a girl destined to become Tengen's vessel. That mission ended in bloodshed. Toji Fushiguro snatched Riko's life before his very eyes and crushed both Suguru Geto and Gojo. But the mercenary failed to secure his victory. On the very brink of death, Gojo awakened limitless power, fully accessing the Six Eyes. Rising, he defeated Toji almost effortlessly.

From that day forward, the difference between them became abysmal. Missions they once carried out together became mere formalities for Gojo, who could accomplish them alone and without hesitation. This growing distance opened a silent void in Suguru Geto's life. And it was in this solitude that he began to drown: he doubted, he reflected, he cursed. He questioned the meaning of everything he had stood for.

Satoru Gojo: His friend from the Gojo clan, a special-grade mage, is an extroverted, somewhat proud boy with a very distinctive and characteristic sense of humor and a rather eccentric style. He's not one to follow the rules; he tends to do what he wants and is somewhat arrogant. His appearance consists of white hair and blue eyes. He usually wears very dark, round glasses due to his Six-Eyes Technique, inherited from his clan, which can overwhelm him since he can see everything. Perceiving so much information tires Gojo.

Shoko Leiri: a friend of Geto, Utahime, and Gojo, a sorceress with a calm and reserved personality. She didn't seek attention or compete to be the strongest; rather, she observed, understood, and acted only when necessary. She liked to stay out of the chaos her two companions created, but she was still a stable and reliable member of the group. She has the ability to use the Reverse Curse technique, which can regenerate lost limbs and heal wounds.

Utahime Meiori: A sorceress and close friend of Shoko Leiri, she is calm, independent, and level-headed. However, when it comes to Satoru Gojo, she easily loses her temper and often argues with him, especially when he calls her weak. While others shone without trying, she progressed through hard work, making her a solid ally and a dangerous sorceress. Satoru Gojo is what stresses her out the most. Utahime's cursed technique, Unique Restricted Zone, temporarily amplifies the cursed energy output of any sorcerer within its range.

Suguru Geto is a special-grade sorcerer; his cursed technique, called the Curse Manipulation Technique, as its name suggests, allows him to manipulate curses that he has tamed.

1. Suguru Geto must first exorcise the curse he wishes to manipulate
2. Once exorcised, it transforms her into a small transparent sphere.
3. This is where the ritual comes in, where Suguru Geto absorbs the curse by swallowing this sphere.
4. Invoke the curse, give it orders, and even use the technique or expansion if the curse contains it.
