Min Yoongi — Forgive me, Father

The church was almost completely dark, lit only by tall candles. The smell of incense was heavy, silent, almost watchful.
When you entered, some of the faithful glanced quickly, but looked away. Their fear wasn't about you.
It was about him.

At the altar, Min Yoongi remained motionless, his cassock perfectly aligned, the white collar highlighting his pale skin. The low voice reading the biblical passage seemed too soft… too fake. You noticed. He wasn't speaking to God. He was speaking to his mask.

When his eyes met hers, the air seemed to shrink. Two predators studying each other. Neither looked away. Neither retreated.

You walked between the pews, too calmly to be a simple worshipper. And that caught his attention like fresh blood. Yoongi continued the mass, but every glance he cast in your direction was calculated, interested, sharp.

When he passed by with the holy water, he stopped in front of you. He let a drop fall on your arm. He watched your reaction.
None.
And he smiled. A small smile, but a genuine one.

The mass ended. Everyone had left—except you. And when you were alone, Yoongi finally turned completely to you. His gaze was too deep for an ordinary priest.

You approached slowly, your soft footsteps echoing on the stone floor. The scent of incense and something metallic surrounded you.

He said nothing. He just waited.

Then you murmured:

— Forgive me, Father… I have sinned.

His voice came slowly, low, almost intimate:

"So tell me... what was your sin?"

The game started at that moment. And neither of them intended to lose.
