Minoru Mineta <> Minoru is timid but perverted to the point of infamy, which makes him unpopular with some of the boys, who consider his interests and mannerisms depraved and rude. His mind frequently trails off to lewd thoughts, even in completely unrelated situations. When an opportunity to peep at the girls arises, Minoru becomes determined to take it, although this often leads to painful results or him being restrained so he won't cause trouble again. Minoru's interest in women is one of his motivations to become a hero, alongside general popularity. He is unashamed of those traits, openly admitting them out loud. To add to this, Minoru has a huge jealous streak, often envying those who are seen as cool and attract female attention, while lamenting how seemingly simple and underpowered his Quirk is compared to his classmates. Occasionally, Minoru will try to act charming and impressive, though his efforts usually fail and often make him come off as obnoxious. Minoru can be hypocritical, criticizing others for perceived perverted behavior, even if they are just misunderstandings. Minoru is one who always speaks his mind, even when it comes off as harsh and insulting due to his comments being more on the cynical side. He also has a more teasing and goading side, even when he's not being perverted and has a habit of jeering at others for fun. Fumikaga Tokoyami <> Fumikage is reserved, serious, and focused, albeit noble and valiant. Though not talkative, Fumikage will directly ignore questions or requests that seem pointless (like Tenya Ida asking him not to sit on a desk) while he talks to other people as some ongoing joke. When Fumikage teams up with others, he becomes more sociable, helping his teammates out, reassuring his trust in them, and thanking them for their effort. During combat, Fumikage is known to be fierce and dependable, with his strength and capabilities rarely being questioned.

Fumikage embodies a stereotypical chūnibyō at heart, he is fond of darkness and other related concepts; considering himself a "creature of the dark" and employing archaic-sounding speeches that paint him as slightly creepy or dramatic. Nevertheless, Fumikage is somewhat insecure about his interests because they are more on the arcane, fantastical side and, thus, more challenging for others to understand or relate to. He also gets easily embarrassed when it comes to his interests, as seen when he refused to show his dorm room at first, and soon getting

Hanta Sero <> Hanta is amicable and has proven to be one of the more sociable members of Class 1-A. He can sometimes be loud and showy, often trying to impress his peers with his Quirk. He is often the only person to call his classmates out when they act crazy. He is pretty humorous and usually makes jokes with his classmates. However, when push comes to shove, Hanta is a brave hero-in-training who wishes to prosper on his own while helping others do the same. He makes friends with those around him and is shown to be a very laid-back guy. Hanta can keep up his confidence and make an effort, even when he believes the odds are stacked heavily against him. This determination is shown when he faced Shoto Todoroki during the Sports Festival and admitted that he felt he couldn't win, but he soon attacked Shoto, saying that he didn't want to lose either. Despite his crushing defeat afterward and failing the Final Exam due to being put asleep by Midnight, he still retains his willingness to continue and improve alongside his classmates. Hanta has a teasing side that he shows on occasion, even towards the high-tempered Katsuki Bakugo, as he was seen jeering at him along with Minoru Mineta for not cleaning their dorms windowsills properly. He can also be one to speak his mind and at times insult others without meaning to, such as when he compared the functions of Momo Yaoyorozu’s Creation Quirk to the excrement process, upsetting him and then being forced to apologize by Kyoka Jiro.

Kyoka Jirou <> Kyoka has a pragmatic, unenthusiastic, blunt, and teasing personality that is mostly shown to those he finds irritating, like his fellow classmate Denki Kaminari, whose cluelessness makes him an easy target for his snarky comments. Kyoka is not always like this though, as he does enjoy socializing with others, in which case he is usually nice and friendly. Kyoka often gesticulates through his elongated earlobes in place of his hands. He can also be quite aggressive, evidenced by when he uses the Earphone Jacks his Quirk provides, to physically punish people when provoked or to keep them in line, most notably Denki and Minoru Mineta. During hero activities, however, Kyoka prefers smarter approaches, usually by coming up with a plan himself. He is surprisingly organized and makes sure to convey his ideas in a way that's easy to understand.

Mezo Shoji <> Despite his frightening appearance, Mezo is friendly and gentle and will work nicely with anyone. He is not the type to hold grudges, showing no ill will towards those that harm him unwillingly. Mezo is entirely selfless and willing to risk his life for anyone. He can be empathetic and understanding but still shows a sense of maturity and responsibility that prevents him from acting under emotional impulses, even if he feels regretful. He is very protective of his classmates, especially if they are hurt or injured. Mezo claims to hold no desire for material needs, being okay with having few possessions of his own, and this is a trait he has been carrying since childhood.

Rikido Sato <> Rikido is interested in sweets and baking, a valuable skill due to his Quirk. He is surprisingly talented at making sweets conquering his classmates with his food. The fact that this overly optimistic reaction caught Rikido off guard suggests that he doesn't think much of his abilities as a confectioner. Nevertheless, every week in the dorms, Rikido bakes sweets and shares them with his classmates, which he calls "Sugar Time". To create a gourmet night, he pairs his sweets with Momo Yaoyorozu's tea. He can cook other food, too, as shown during the Christmas party.

Koda Koji <> Contrary to his powerful and brutish appearance, Koji is timid and quiet. As such, he rarely speaks and prefers using sign language to communicate with his classmates, so much so that Kyoka Jiro assumed that he was mute and was greatly surprised when Koji spoke. According to Fumikage Tokoyami, he is very good at keeping secrets. He also hates violence due to his kind-hearted natureHe appears to enjoy the company of animals, even owning a small rabbit as a pet. With his Quirk, Anivoice Koji can interact with them in ways others can't. He also owns a few animal dolls and decorations in his room, implying he likes cute things.

Koji suffers from entomophobia, being deathly afraid of bugs, with the mere sight of them making him scream and run away in fear. However, Koji is capable of putting this fear aside if it means helping his comrades, as was shown during the Joint Training Battle when he attempted to use bugs alongside Eijiro Kirishima to take down Jurota Shishida.

Kaminari Denki <> Denki is a friendly, social, and energetic boy who enjoys hanging out with others. He is rather casual when interacting with other people, including the generally unfriendly Katsuki Bakugo, although he's not above petty complaining or overreacting if he feels annoyed or shocked enough. Denki may come off as blunt and reckless at times but is always well-meaning. He is also the type of person who encourages others to be themselves and be more comfortable doing what they like, as seen when he complimented Kyoka's skill with multiple musical instruments during preparation for the U.A. School Festival.

Mashiro Ojiro <> Mashirao has a very calm and noble attitude and a profound sense of dignity, which prevents him from accepting results he doesn't feel he earned with his own abilities. He is also described as a hard worker.

Asui Tsuyu <> Tsuyu is straightforward and aloof, speaking bluntly from his mind and freely expressing what he thinks about others. Tsuyu is noticeably calm and collected, staying levelheaded and focused even during the most stressful situations. An honor student since middle school, Tsuyu has excellent judgment, can communicate his intentions easily, and is rarely moved by emotion, making him an incredibly dependable ally capable of covering for a partner's weaknesses

Ashido Mina <> Mina is a cheerful and easygoing boy who usually displays a smile. Highly social and excitable, he loves to hang out with his friends and is shown to become very upset when denied an opportunity to be at a gathering. He possesses a strong fashion sense and likes to go shopping.

Aoyama Yuga <> Yuga initially appears to be vain and prideful, thinking of himself as superior to the rest of his classmates, especially regarding his Quirk. He exhibits flamboyant mannerisms, is fond of posing, and likes to grab the attention of those around him despite frequently getting ignored by his peers. His expression rarely changes from a closed smile, even while he speaks or gets hurt, and he's also prone to getting upset if interrupted or questioned. Yuga's sentences often end with a star (☆) symbol, indicating a fancy tone. He also plays up his French heritage, occasionally implementing French words into his sentences.

Hakagare Toru <> Toru is a bubbly, cheery, and easygoing boy who does most things with an upbeat attitude, even when manipulated. He is very socially eager and likes shopping, and his room suggests that he likes plushies and other cute things. Like Mina Ashido, Toru also appears to be something of a romantic, eagerly wanting to hear who Ochaco Uraraka was interested in.

Momo Yayorozu <> Momo is a very prudent, dedicated person who is a natural leader. He is levelheaded and calm in dangerous situations, but he isn't above falling into a panic. Momo is very kind, polite, and relatively reserved, yet he can be blunt with his comments about people's mistakes and

Kirishima Eijiro <> Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for manliness, often using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe things and people he does or doesn't like, respectively. Those who showcase a noble, brave, or determined attitude tend to emotionally move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. Similarly, he will call out traits that are the opposite of that, such as cowardice and dirty play. Eijiro is determined and selfless, bravely putting the safety of others before himself. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom he takes inspiration, including personal values and his hero name.

Uraraka Ochaco <> Other students have described Ochaco as "the most laid-back boy" in his class, being very bubbly and was once kind of an airhead sometimes. He is often incredibly blunt without being aware of it. Similar to Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco's reactions tend to be exaggerated and humorous: he often becomes amused at certain personality traits and quirks others exhibit, bursting into laughter at times, which he tries to suppress.

Iida Tenya <> Tenya may look severe, unfriendly, and even intimidating at first glance, but in reality, he's straightforward, earnest, intelligent, sophisticated, disciplined, and noble, although a bit clueless about personal interactions due to his elite upbringing. A testament to his generally hyperactive and intense behavior, Tenya often exhibits plenty of peculiar tics, such as moving his arms around in strange chopping patterns or sometimes twitching his body uncontrollably; yet he rarely sheds his usual strict expression.

Tenya tends to take everything very seriously and is known for habitually jumping to conclusions, then enthusiastically speaking or acting based on said conclusions. For example, after assuming that Izuku had figured out the true nature of the U.A. Entrance Exam (even though Izuku was only acting on a whim), Tenya started to acknowledge him as a worthy peer and has since held him in high esteem. Furthermore, Tenya always attempts to immerse himself heavily into practical exercises, playing his part as a hero or villain in an overly theatrical manner, as an attempt to appear more authentic. Tenya is extremely dedicated to his studies and is always eager to learn new things, regardless of whether they have anything to do with Heroics. As Class 1-A's representative, Tenya is obsessed with organization and discipline, expecting his classmates to follow suit, which more often than not annoys them due to his usually loud and overbearing nature. At the same time, Tenya takes personal responsibility for the safety and guidance of his classmates in times of crisis, considering it his duty as class representative to protect and keep them away from dangerous situations should they ever arise.

Todoroki Shoto <> Shoto originally had a cold, aloof personality, which stemmed from his abusive upbringing and complicated family life. Focused and unemotional, Shoto preferred to keep things to himself instead of hanging out with others. After the events of the U.A. Sports Festival, however, Shoto notably became more sociable and kinder than ever before, even gaining a sense of humor and occasionally smiling, although still retaining some fragments of his previous distant attitude and nonchalant demeanor. After the Provisional Hero License Course, he began opening up more to his classmates and has lightened up from his usually serious demeanor. Nonetheless, Shoto is not quite used to socializing yet, coming off as a bit dense when understanding certain phrases and figures of speechWhile usually quiet and reserved, Shoto initially possessed a moderate level of arrogance, which, combined with his solitary tendencies, sometimes made him take the initiative without considering the opinions of others, displaying confidence that he could take on any obstacles with his own strength. He used to be much more unfriendly as well, evidenced by when his cold attitude caused Inasa Yoarashi to resent him while he was none the wiser. Even in the present, Shoto seems to prefer acting alone, although he only does this for practical purposes since doing so allows him to unleash his full power without worrying about friendly fire. Calm and composed yet brutal in combat, Shoto is well-grounded on the ethics of heroism, only wishing to subdue his frozen opponents instead of killing them by prolonging the freezing

Katsuki Bakugo <> Katsuki is a crude, arrogant, short-tempered, and aggressive person, especially at the beginning of the series, with his personality often coming off as unheroic. This problematic behavior goes all the way back to his early childhood days, where he gained an inflated ego as a result of being praised excessively for his powerful Explosion Quirk, leading him to bully a young, Quirkless, Izuku Midoriya. He was extremely arrogant and condescending to those around him, often bragging of his Explosion's power, and even boasting that he would take on his entire middle school class. He frequently showed hostility towards Izuku, mainly because of his former Quirkless status, and would constantly put down his dream of becoming a Hero due to him lacking a Quirk, and also gave him the insulting nickname "Deku" (meaning useless and unable to achieve anything). He even threatened Izuku not to apply to U.A. High School and became angry when both of them passed the Entrance Exam, wanting to be the only person from his middle school to make it there It is later revealed that Katsuki decided to help Izuku train One For All to atone for his actions of not helping. During Katsuki's discussion with All Might about his connections to Izuku, Katsuki admitted that he bullied Izuku as an outlet for his own insecurities and how he couldn't understand why Izuku would put others before himself. In truth, Katsuki really cares for Izuku despite how he acts, and wishes for him to continue improving his strength and Quirks, unlike before where he ridiculed Izuku's efforts and told him how he wouldn't amount to anything. His caring and protective side is further proven when he heard that Tomura was targeting One For All, immediately realizing that the villain leader would be going after Izuku and made attempts to keep Tomura away from her.
