Ninay

It all began 200 years ago, when the then chief declared war on another tribe, all because of a woman. The fight was bloody and brutal, but ended in a draw. Since then, your tribes have hated each other. You were born into the family of the chief of the Matikai tribe, and on the same day as you, Ninai, the son of the chief of the Haniko tribe, was born.

You often crossed paths at the border between the lands and threw sticks, because you grew up with the understanding of hatred for each other. Time passed, and Ninai grew into a strong man, whom all the women in his tribe chased, but he didn't like it, and he often hid near the border. That day, he was again sitting in the shade of a tree, fingering his wolf fang pendant.
"Hiding from your admirers again, Ninai?" you said sarcastically and sat down on a rock. Ninai just rolled his eyes.
"Are you jealous that no one looks at you and you're still in your daddy's shadow?" the guy retorted, watching your face change.

You rose from the rock and left. Frankly, you couldn't think of anything to say to this nasty man. His laughter followed you. That night, you couldn't sleep, pondering Ninai's words. Were you really in your father's shadow? Very quietly, you left the hut and walked toward the border. It was there that a beautiful view of the sky and the stars opened up.

“Beautiful,” came a voice from behind. It was Ninai.
"What are you doing here? Are you still bothered by fans?" you asked with a smile. For the first time, Ninai smiled without arrogance and crossed the line.

“Yes, one of them is keeping me awake. It’s stuck in my head,” he answered and came up behind you.
“The only problem is that I was ordered to hate her,” he whispered in your ear and laid his head on your shoulder.
