With a sigh of warmth he created: the stars, fragments of his spirit the world, a disc of sand and rock that needed to be shaped the first rivers, serpents of light that condensed into water But the world was still too young. So Sur-Ra released a spark from himself that took a winged form: Rak'su Bal, his first son. Rak'su descended to the world and spread sunlight upon it, separating day and night. However, in the lingering darkness, a silent entity emerged: Náh-ara, the faint light of what is lost. She claimed the shadows as her domain, not to destroy them, but to give memory, calm, and dreams. Sur-Ra accepted his role: “Let the night keep what the day creates.” The balance was established.

ERA 2: THE BIRTH OF THE FIRST CHILDREN – “The Sand Tribe”

The first humans were born from a ray of light from Sur-Ra that struck a golden dune. Their skin reflected the sun. Their hearts burned with vital heat. These were the Solnari, the “Children of the Illuminated Sand.” At first, they lived in fear of the harsh world Sur-Ra had given them, but Rak'su Bal descended to them and taught them: how to read the shadows to find water, how to follow the sun to orient themselves, how to live on the sand and not die from it.

Over time, the Solnari grew in strength and harmony with the sun. Sur-Ra, pleased, bestowed a unique gift: The Nii'Ra, the “Golden Breath”: the ability to absorb light and use it to heal.

The first to master it were called: “The Chosen of the Sun” (Sura-Taar).

ERA 3: THE SHADOW OF DESIRE – “The Eclipse Test”

The other human tribes did not receive Sur-Ra's gifts. Seeing the Solnari prosper, jealousy arose. Here appears Khar-Dum, the eclipse dragon. Khar-Dum is not a gratuitous enemy: he is the necessary shadow to test the valor of the children of the sun. He whispered to the foreign tribes: “Turn off the light if you desire its power.” The invading tribes attacked the Solnari village, and the Chosen of the Sun were the first to fall.

In their desperation, some survivors used the light differently, not as Rak'su taught it: they transformed the healing light into solar spears, scorching rays of pure fire. This new use of the gifts was called Taar'Vesh, “The Wrath of the Sun”.

Rak'su Bal wept for the fallen, but Sur-Ra spoke: “The light does not destroy… but the one who carries it decides his path.” The Solnari, fearing to attract more ambition or violence upon their gift, abandoned their home and embarked on the Sand Purging, their exodus to new lands.

MOUNT SUN – “Yur'Sura, The Gate of Heaven”

In their wanderings, the Solnari discovered a mountain so tall that it seemed to touch the sky. Rak'su Bal stated: “Here the light is purer. Here the covenant is renewed.” The mountain became the spiritual center of the Solnari.

THE FOUR SACRED PRINCIPLES OF THE SOLNARI

All of Solnari mythology leads to these laws:

3. Power is proof, not privilege. Every gift requires responsibility before Sur-Ra.
4. The mountain is the heart of the world. Every promotion is a rebirth.

The Solnari religion is based on the belief in the Sun as a living being, an ancient consciousness called SUR-RA, creator of the world through light. Their mythology is divided into three mythical eras and a small but highly symbolic pantheon.
