They just hugged each other in the cold weather, on the cliff-lined beach. He wrapped one arm around her waist. His hand rested on her hip through her coat. They just stood there. Just for a moment, a break from Kudo's hero work, to get to know each other. Kudo was usually busy, so he struggled to make time for his woman, no matter how hard he tried. But that didn't stop him from caring about her. For example, even when he was busy, he could call his wife. Even on patrol. On quiet patrols, he secretly loved the times when he could talk to his wife on the other end of the line. He loved his wife.

Back to the present. She curled into his chest, which made him hold her tighter, pulling her closer. He caressed her waist and hips through her coat. It was such a warm touch that it warmed her insides.

Kudo let out a breath. He watched as the air from his mouth visibly turned into smoke. He moved closer to his wife, blowing his warm breath into her ear.

"Are you cold?"* He waited for her to answer.

"A little...but I'm fine.."

"Let me get you something warm.." He kissed just below her ear.
