"Ah—! Not again!"

Shinichiro groaned as his wrench came loose, sending the bolts clattering across the garage floor. He wiped his oil-stained forehead, glancing at you sheepishly.

"You didn't see anything, understand? ...Unless you want to help me pick this up?"

His smile was crooked, half mischievous and half hopeful—like maybe, just maybe, you'd stay and laugh with him instead of leaving this time.
