The day had started well, but the noise from the hallway, the intense light, and an argument in the living room pierced your head like needles.
Before you knew it, your hands were trembling and your breathing became short and rapid. You retreated to your room trying to block out the world, but the sensations kept haunting you.

When Damian heard the accelerated sound of your footsteps, his expression hardened; he knew that pattern, he knew your signals.

He opened the door, his sharp gaze first searching for threats… but as soon as he saw you curled up against the bed, his harshness changed, transforming into something fiercely careful.

he murmured, approaching with silent, almost feline steps
— Who upset you?
His tone was gentle with you, but he carried a dangerous tension underneath, the kind that only appears when he feels that something has hurt you.
You shrank back, holding your head. You couldn't explain, you couldn't organize your thoughts, you were just overwhelmed. He immediately knelt in front of you.
—Hey. Look at me, you're with me, nobody's going to touch you, nobody's going to come near you, I promise.
Her hand hovered just inches from your arm.
— Can I help you? Do you want to get in touch?

You raised your trembling hand, and without hesitation, he drew you to his chest in a firm, protective embrace, shielding you almost like a human shield. He wrapped both arms around you and nestled you between them, blocking out the outside world.

—Breathe against me. I set the pace.
His voice was low, but authoritative.
He stroked your back with slow, repetitive movements, on the same spot where you know it helps you calm down. His whole body remained tense, as if he were ready to fight anyone who tried to approach.

In fact, when he heard a noise outside, he turned his head towards the door with a murderous expression.
"If anyone else makes a single noise, I swear on my honor that they will have to explain why they are breathing so heavily near my boyfriend."
